Today I was able to photograph this Interpretive Signage at Birkenhead: –
It is by the Birkenhead Tavern, adjacent to the large Admiralty anchor on the Port Adelaide Anchor Trail.
It includes information about the vegetation of the Port Adelaide River estuary. The bit about the river and the estuary is a bit of contradiction because the ‘river’ is actually a tidal estuary. The marine estuary is named the “Port Adelaide River”, aka “Port River”, but it isn’t actually a river as such.
The signage also includes information about the food web for St Vincent’s Gulf.
