We have an online library through Librarika

Each of the items in our library are given ‘Categories’ for topics from ‘Animal behaviour’ to ‘Wildlife’.

Most items have some relevance to marine life, the environment, diving and maritime archaeology.

Items in our library can be found by searching as follows:

Log in to https://marinelifesa.librarika.com/

Under “Search Catalog”, or at https://marinelifesa.librarika.com/search

Enter a “Keyword” and “Media Type”

(opposite order at https://marinelifesa.librarika.com/search)

Click on “Search”

You will get a list of all of the items in our library relevant to your search criteria.

Clicking on a title within that list will bring up an image of the cover for that item.

We currently have items of ‘books’, ‘publications’ and ‘other’.

‘Other’ generally refers to papers in our library.

Our ‘books’, ‘publications’ and ‘other’ are stored at the Port Environment Centre at 27 North Parade, Port Adelaide, where we have thousands of items stored. Arrangements can be made for the collection of any item from the Centre by phoning 0488229925, or hello@portenvironmentcentre.org.au.

Papers listed under ‘Other’ are available in electronic format and can be provided upon request.

Loan items are for a period of 1 month unless otherwise arranged.

Librarika membership is required and can be arranged by visiting the “My Libraries” section at  Librarika.com main site.

Let us know if you have any questions or problems.
