The Dolphin Dock website provides good information about South Australia’s dolphins. There are features about the Port River and Patawalonga lake dolphins.
There are also details about the Patawalonga Dolphin Trail.
The page includes a trailer, some informational video footage , a map of the trail and details of the 7 Trail Stations. There are also details about several picnic shelters located along the trail.
Although it isn’t mentioned on the website, there is a newly-installed Exel-loo toilet near Trail Station No.7.
It is close to the large Trotman anchor display near Stanley Street, Glenelg North. Other toilets are listed at both the northern and southern end of the lake.
The walking trail around the lake is described as being a 3.6km loop.
A QR code at each of the picnic shelters and on each of the trail markers link to the Dolphin Dock website.
There are additional trail information plaques at the picnic shelters. Information about How You Can Help is available on the Dolphin Dock website. There is also a blog, although it was last used in 2015.

Aids such as maps are available.
