QR codes linking to information about anchors were attached to most of the anchors on the Port Adelaide Anchor Trail during ‘working bees’ in August 2025.
During these ‘working bees’, it was reconfirmed that the anchor at the Naval Cadets site in Jenkins Street is still inaccessible due to building work.

It was also discovered that a new wrought iron fence has been put up at the Austbuilt Museum in Fletcher Road, Peterhead. As a result of that, the large anchor there has been moved closer to the fence and it is now visible at all times from outside the museum.

The small anchor there has now been hoisted up inside the carport there. Although it can just be made out from outside the museum, you need to go inside the museum grounds to get a closer look at it.
