Yet another Moonlighter with an unusual pattern on its side

Further to More About Peculiar Colour Patterns in Fish, David Muirhead recently sighted yet another Moonlighter with an unusual pattern on its side.

David photographed this Moonlighter during a dive at Carrickalinga on 16th April 2022: –

This photo shows the normal patterning on the side of a Moonlighter: –

David calls the dive site Dunny Block Reef due to it being off shore from the toilet block at Carrickalinga Beach on Gold Coast Drive.
