A pair of Society members visited Morgan’s Beach near Cape Jervis for a snorkel recently. Unfortunately, the water was pretty murky and it seemed that most fish were hiding that day.  It was theorised that this could be because of the works going on at the Cape Jervis ferry terminal, but who knows?

Although the visibility was not very good, and they did not see that much, the water was calm. One of the divers sent in a few photos for us. Much of the sea bottom consisted of algae and wireweed seagrass, as shown in these next 3 photos: –

But there were rocky areas, as shown in this photo of a toadfish: –
