Rapid Bay Dive 5/12/15

We dived at Rapid Bay jetty (for the third time in five weeks) in early December. Our dives all comprised a mixture of Society members and one or two ‘ring ins’. Each dive was completely different to the other two. This latest dive, on 5th December, consisted of some five ‘divers’. A dive ‘full of 9’s’

Chris Hall and I dived together at Rapid Bay on 21st November. Although there isn’t anything unusual about that, one thing about the dive inspired me to write about it. It was a dive ‘full of 9‘s’! We made plans for our dive on 19th November. We planned to meet at Rapid Bay jetty at 9am. We spent 79 minutes underwater. Our maximum depth was 9.9m. The water temperature was a constant 19C. Rapid Bay Caves Expeditions

Two friends and I visited the large cave at Rapid Bay one day when we couldn’t (wouldn’t) dive at Second Valley due to less than ideal conditions there. We drove on to Rapid Bay and went deep into the cave, with just one torch between us.
