Membership benefits include:
- Meet people passionate about the promotion and protection of South Australia’s marine environment
- Help plan and participate in Society field trips and activities
- Write and publish articles to MLSSA’s website
- Receive regular electronic mail-outs
- Contribute to Society decision-making, including preparation of position statements on various marine conservation matters
- Help shape legislative reform and inform public policy with a unified voice
- Vote on internal matters relevant to the Society’s operations
Annual membership fees
An annual fee is paid by MLSSA members. Payment can be made in person at a general meeting, electronically (bank deposit) or via post (cheque). Fees are priced as follows:
- Single/Individual membership – $25
- Family membership – $30
- Student/Concession membership – $10
1/2 fees apply each year for new members who join between October 1 and 31 March.
