After reading our post UN report warns about the threat of increased marine heatwaves Martha Chapman from Top Window Fans wrote to us to tell us about her guide for people interested in learning about how they can stay safe during a heat wave (as well as why they should take this subject very seriously).

Right now, however, managing heatwaves is the last thing on our minds in South Australia, with plummeting temperatures and the onset of winter, but Martha figured that it might be better to get the word out well before we get back to the warmer months.
